These hands-on labs show how to size and scale apps on Azure App Service, from changing pricing tiers to adding autoscale rules that grow and shrink your app with demand.

Labs in this section​

  • Scale your app up and out with autoscale - Start a web app on B1, scale up to Standard S1, then turn on autoscale with CPU rules (scale out above 70 percent, scale in below 30 percent, 1 to 3 instances) plus a scheduled profile. Follow the same path three ways (Azure Developer CLI, Azure CLI, or the Azure portal).
